An Introduction to the Advanced Visual Basic for Applications Blog and the author

1. About the Blog:

It has been a long standing wish of the author to have a blog about how to leverage the Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) that is available in the background of the more popular MSOffice365 Software Suite, like Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Powerpoint.

However, in this blog, we will be dealing more with the top 3 products of the Office Suite, namely, the first three named programs, which are, respectively, a Multi-Dimensional Database System, a Word Processor and a Spreadsheet program. This is because the main activity of programming happens in these three itself. Powerpoint just gives the support to the other three, so you can control it from within them.
